Projects and Events >>
A collection of my current work demonstrating skills I have developed during the first two years of my degree and the events I have participated in to further engage with the industry.
Trekkin' across the universe
A point click adventure game with a familiar theme trekkin' across the stars...
Second year C++ module submission using SFML libraries to create a point and click game exploring mouse based interaction and logic puzzles.
80's software Pirate
Unity 3D Environment exploring the morning of an 80's software pirate.
First year Unity module submission, 3d models of soda stream, and cereal box with animation developed in Maya.
Manic Mini
A homage to my retro roots, not quite Kokotoni Wilf but still a classic.
First year module submission exploring jump curve calculations, a semi faithful recreation of the ZX Spectrum version of manic miner using SFML libraries.
GAMES JAM 2024
First Games Jam, big learning curve but not in the way I expected.
Partipcated in the Global Games Jam 2024 with a team of 7 other first and second years. Largely a first year team with limited coding and design experience. Was pretty stressful! But a real learning curve on team dynamics and ultimately a great experience. Im going again in 2025 to see how the dynamic has changed now I have a little more confidence!
Other Projects >>
Other projects which demonstrate my ability to flex into different disciplines in a desire to stay multiskilled.
3D models produced in Maya for Unity Engine application - Soda stream has full working animation as demonstrated in the 3D unity environment '80's Software Pirate'. Image captures of original vintage sodastream and start cereal box used to create faithful representations when rendered.
Space 1990 'Brian the Brain' 3d model produced in Maya using original TV show screen captures to produce a faithful representation of the textures.
